Lipoprotein Metabolism: Cellular and Molecular Mechanisms
One long-term major focus of this program is understanding the structure and function of apolipoprotein (apo) E. A second major focus is studying the role of specific lipoproteins in atherogenesis in animal models and humans. Several areas are under investigation.
