Driving and Parking Information

Returning to Downtown/Civic Center:
Exit the parking lot southbound on 4th Street. Turn right on 16th Street. Turn right on 7th Street. Take 7th Street all the way to Market Street.

From the South Bay/San Francisco Airport:
From 101 Freeway North:
Take the 280 freeway toward Downtown San Francisco
Exit from 280 at Mariposa Street and turn left.
Turn right on Mississippi Street and go two blocks.
Turn right on 16th Street.
Continue past Owens Street one half block and take the first left turn available after Owens Street (4th Street).
The parking lot entrance is on the right.

Returning to 101 Freeway South:
Exit the parking lot southbound on 4th Street. Turn right on 16th Street. Turn left on Mississippi Street. Turn left on Mariposa Street. Turn right on 280 South. Merge left to 101 South.

From 280 Freeway North:
Follow the freeway signs for 280/Downtown San Francisco
Exit at Mariposa Street and turn left.
Turn right on Mississippi Street and go two blocks.
Turn right on 16th Street.
Continue past Owens Street one half block and take the first left turn available after Owens Street (4th Street).
The parking lot entrance is on the right.

Returning to 280 Freeway South:
Exit the parking lot southbound on 4th Street. Turn right on 16th Street. Turn left on Mississippi Street. Turn left on Mariposa Street. Turn right on 280 South.

From the East Bay/Bay Bridge:
After crossing the Bay Bridge, exit at 9th Street/Civic Center.
Turn left on 8th Street at the bottom of the exit ramp. Turn left on Brannan Street. Turn right on 7th Street. Turn left on 16th Street.
Continue past Owens Street one half block and take the first left turn available after Owens Street (4th Street).
The parking lot entrance is on the right.

Returning to East Bay via Bay Bridge:
Exit the parking lot southbound on 4th Street. Turn right on 16th Street. Turn right on 7th Street. Turn right on Bryant Street and follow the signs to the 80/Bay Bridge freeway entrance.

From the North Bay/Golden Gate Bridge:
After crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, drive east on 101 (Doyle Drive) towards downtown.
Exit at Marina Boulevard and follow Marina Boulevard past Fort Mason.
Turn left on Bay Street.
Turn right on The Embarcadero.
After passing under the Bay Bridge, The Embarcadero will become King Street.
Turn left on 3rd Street just past SBC Baseball Park.
Cross the 3rd Street (Lefty O'Doul) Bridge and continue south on 3rd Street.
Turn right on 16th Street.
Turn right on 4th street (first available right turn after 3rd Street). The parking lot entrance is on the right.

Returning to North Bay via Golden Gate Bridge:
Exit the parking lot southbound on 4th Street. Turn left on 16th Street. Turn left on 3rd Street. Turn right on Townsend Street. Turn left on The Embarcadero. Turn left on Bay Street. Turn right on Laguna Street. Laguna curves left and turns into Marina Boulevard. At the end of Marina Boulevard, take the entrance ramp to Doyle Drive. Stay on Doyle Drive to the Golden Gate Bridge.

Parking, and Entering the Building:
From 16th Street, turn on 4th street which begins on the north side of 16th, between 3rd and Owens Streets. There are parking areas on the east side of 4th street. (see Maps)
Follow the walkway west one block through the campus (between Koret Quad and Genentech Hall) to Owens Street.
The Gladstone building is directly across the street, at 1650 Owens Street.
Please enter through the main entrance.
