Other Flow Resources
There are many resources on the Web for flow and imaging cytometry. A few very useful ones are listed below. Please email us if you find any of the links not working.
International Society for Analytical Cytology
The main professional organization supporting flow cytometry. Links to training information and conferences.

Current Protocols in Cytometry
Online access to Current Protocols through the UCSF libraries.

Mario Roederer's Home Page
Good tutorials on Fluorescence Compensation and antibody conjugation.

Holden Maecker's Weblog lab
Excellent collection of annotated references on T-cell functional studies - protocols, articles, etc, as well as very useful discussion.

Basic Tutorials on Fluorescence and Flow Cytometry
This part of the Invitrogen site has some excellent beginning tutorials. The Flash graphics are good, too.

UCSF Hybridoma Core
Susan Watson does an excellent job of production and/or custom conjugation of antibodies at a great price. Contact her Susan.Watson@ucsf.edu for specific information.

UCSF Laboratory for Cell Analysis
UCSF Comprehensive Cancer Center Flow and Image Cytometry Core Facility. Our friends across the City, providing expert Flow and Imaging services.

Other UCSF Research Cores
A listing of various core facilities in the UCSF environmewnt.

Purdue Cytometry Core
This site has access to many resources for flow and image cytometry, including a well-used discussion list. There is also a VERY useful discussion summary section at http://www.cyto.purdue.edu/hmarchiv//web_summaries/index.htm

BD Spectrum Viewer
A useful Java applet put together by Joe Trotter of BD Biosciences. You can view the excitation and emission spectra of many common fluorescent dyes

Invitrogen Spectrum Viewer
A viewer for many of the specialized fluorchromes that Invitrogen/Molecular Probes sells. Some of these are not available on the BD site.

Biotrue, Inc. - Data Management Systems
The Gladstone Flow Core, through an NIH SBIR, helped develop a data management system for flow cytometery with this company. We have beta tested this system and are currently configuring it to manage all our Core data.
