AIDS Walk San Francisco

On July 19, 2009, members of the J. David Gladstone Institutes joined approximately 25,000 other participants in northern California’s largest AIDS fundraising event, AIDS Walk San Francisco. Held in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, the event raised just over $3.5 million to benefit the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and other Bay Area HIV/AIDS organizations. The 18-member Gladstone team raised $2,863! This includes funds that were raised as part of a Bake Sale held at Gladstone. Special thanks to Sue Cammack, Gilad Doitsh, John LeViathan and Robin Givens for their efforts in organizing the AIDS Walk events and providing day-of-event support.
