Collaborative Research Agreements
|
| The J. David Gladstone Institutes will enter into collaborative research agreements with for-profit sponsors when such arrangements are consistent with the scientific missions of the Gladstone Institutes and do not compromise the pursuit of knowledge for its own sake and the fundamental principles of academic freedom. The Gladstone Institutes recognizes that commercially sponsored research agreements can promote the transfer of new technologies for the public benefit, create additional funding for innovative scientific inquiry, and promote productive intellectual exchange between academic and corporate scientists.
