The Transgenic Gene-Targeting Core has been an integral part of the Gladstone Institutes UCSF research community for more than 15 years, producing essential mouse models as a service to Gladstone investigators and UCSF faculty. Producing transgenic and knockout mice requires a high level of surgical dexterity. With many years of surgical experience we are in a unique position to provide custom surgeries to investigators.

Ovary Transfer: The Transgenic Gene-Targeting Core can perform ovary transfer to enable lines with females not capable of supporting a litter to continue the line.
