| The Transgenic Gene-Targeting Core has been an integral part of the Gladstone Institutes UCSF research community for more than 15 years, producing essential mouse models as a service to Gladstone investigators and UCSF faculty. Producing transgenic and knockout mice requires a high level of surgical dexterity. With many years of surgical experience we are in a unique position to provide custom surgeries to investigators.
Custom Surgeries: The Transgenic Gene-Targeting Core will work with investigators to perform surgeries for their research experiments. Contact the Transgenic Core and we will meet to discuss options and estimate costs.
***All surgeries must be IACUC-approved under Investigator's protocol.***
